Tesco Mobile price rises, in pounds

Tesco Mobile states its price rises up front, in pounds and pence, as Ofcom has required since January 2025. 14 of its SIM-only plans rise each April. Here is every rise and what it adds up to.

The alternativeNetworks that say they will not raise your price
Lebara, Lyca, VOXI, giffgaff, iD Mobile state no price rises on their contracts or price-lock their monthly plans (not always on every plan; each plan's tags on our pages say which). Our rankings include Tesco Mobile's rises, so the real monthly cost already accounts for them.
4 Tesco Mobile plans (its Clubcard deals) state no rise on the plan page, though its other plans do. We assume none, which may flatter them.

- Real cost / month assumes you join on 2 October 2026 and stay for the whole contract. Rolling plans are costed over 24 months at today's price; a rolling plan's price is not fixed unless the network says so, but you can leave any month.
- Stated price rises are included where the network publishes them in pounds and pence. Where a network says nothing about rises, we assume none, which may flatter it.
- Not included yet: early exit fees on contracts, speed caps, fair-use limits on "unlimited" data, tethering limits and charges for going over your allowance. We have not collected these, so we make no claims about them.
- £/GB uses the ongoing allowance, not temporary bonus data.
- Price over time bars: green months are an intro price, grey the normal price, red months after a stated rise. Bar height is that month's price.
- Coverage depends on where you live. Check your postcode on Ofcom's coverage checker.
- Existing customers: this page shows the rises Tesco Mobile states for contracts started now. If you already have a Tesco Mobile contract, the rise you pay is set by your own contract; check your terms or your account.
